Obama Talks Education- It's the future of our economy!

So I am at my computer writing about the "live" streaming video that I am watching on YouTube of the State of the Union address, and I feel inspired, yet hesitant to believe. The 44th president of the United States, Barack Obama, is talking a lot about "taking responsibly for our future," and his proposals to change the state of the economy through education among others. His proposal is that we invest in education so that early education can be expanded as the first years are the most crucial for the young mind. Obama made a bold comment as he says that dropping out after high school is no longer acceptable and those who do will not only be giving up on themselves but also their country. I completely agree that the early childhood education is the most important and sets the tone for the rest of their life. It is apparent that in this global economy, schools cannot prepare students for this economic let down, unless we change the pace of academics. It is important that we focus on high standard learning. Obama says that they will focus on incentives to those teachers succeeding in their performance. If we can start on the right track, we will be able to fulfill Obama's goal to become the highest portion of college graduates in the world by 2020!
